★★★ Cernunnos ★★★
"Cernnunos Sleeps,
The Old God sleeps
down in the dark, moist,
odorous underfoot,
Waiting for us
To put down our roots." - C. Hue Bumgarner-Kirby
★Cernunnos, Connecting to the Horned God of the Wilds, Forest & Woodland magick, healing through nature, rewild ourselves & connect to our highest self, understanding the cycles of nature, Stag Spirit medicine, Connecting to Plant Allies, taking charge of our lives, protection whilst shamanic journeying, grounding, mental focus & clarity - the keen senses of the Hunter ★
The Temple of the Wild Cernunnos has been created to honour the antlered Celtic God Cernunnos, who is somewhat of an enigma and has evolved in modern thought to represent the God of the Wild places, forests, the hunt, and even the Underworld.
This beautiful spell oil creates an energetic temple of the Wild places, speaking of growth, roots, and trees, and a deep understanding and communication to the Earth. Cernunnos invites us to contemplate what it means to us to truly be wild and peel back the over sanitization of our modern world.
Cernunnos invites us to run wild and free, and embrace what those concepts truly mean to us, for we ourselves can 'rewild our mild' by celebrating the part of ourselves that has always been connected to the Earth.
★
Cernunnos presented an energy of the Wild Magician; he takes charge of his energy and will and uses it to shape his environment, being in flow with nature and the cycles all around him, he invites us to sit cross legged in the forest and listen to the songs of Earth; to tap into the deeper mysteries without fear.
He is both the Hunter and the Hunted, in order to better understand the synchronicities between both and all that lies between and show to us that everything is connected.
★
Many of seek to rewild ourselves by being separate and other but paradoxically we still want to find 'tribe' and calls us to examine our thoughts about personal sovereignty and status... and whether or not, in the end, that truly matters.
Cernunnos is a protector of the Wild places, and invites us to see with eyes that are not our own; to fly through the sky with hawk wings or to run through the forest with the deer.
He invites us to shed the skin of who were told to be, to shed that which is overly sanitized and untrue, break the chains of social repression and to heal ourselves and our connection to the world and to humanity around us.
Cernunnos highlights the importance of ecosystem, both internal, and external, as he shapeshifts through the many roles to which he assigned and reminds us that we too, can be root, and bark, and leaf.
