The shapeshifter aspect of the Goddess Morrigan is one of the key energies of the Great Queen; reflected in her myths when she shifts into other animals.
The most frequent of these is her Raven form which was quickly identifiable to the Celts in the stories.
 
The shapeshifter can teach us the lessons of the animal within: the raven is a secret keeper outside of time who sees all currents at once.
Raven is a psychopomp who travels between realms and communes with all spirits.
He is the herald of news, messages, changes on the wind.
She is the sorceress given flight, well versed in prophecy and magick.
